Dedicated to the memory of Ann Gerrard

A Tribute to and in loving memory of Ann Gerrard, who was born in Preston on June 28, 1936 to Phyllis and John Gerrard. Ann graduated as an NNEB nurse then married and moved to Fleetwood. After two years the family moved to Walton-le-dale where she became a district nursing Sister. Leaving the district she went to work in the private sector as Occupational Nurse at Plumbs also at Sharoe Green and Royal Preston Hospital for a few years before finally moving to Lancaster and Heysham where she worked at RLI and Morecambe Hospitals as Occupational Health Sister. Ann retired from the National health service in 1995 to fully enjoy her retirement which she did so by becoming an active member of the U3A, taking up Art, Painting, French and Craft classes, teaching first aid to Girl Guides,  travelling and spending as much time as possible with her family. She leaves behind her daughters Karen Martyniuk, Kathryn Hotte (Jean-Pierre Hotte) and Clare Neill (Keith Neill). Her grandchildren and Great grandchildren, also her Brother and sisters  John Gerrard (Dawn Gerrard) Tricia Wilson (the late George Wilson) Catherine Haslam (Brian Haslam), Monica Reynolds (Michael Reynolds) and many nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly and they gave her immense pleasure.  She is much loved and will always be remembered.
